Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know about the AI Keyword Traffic Analyzer.

A blue ocean keyword is one with high search volume but low competition — meaning many shoppers are searching for it, but few sellers are targeting it. These are the most valuable keywords because you can rank for them more easily and capture traffic that competitors are missing. In this tool, keywords with search volume above 5,000 and a competition score below 30 are flagged as blue ocean opportunities.
The opportunity score (0–100) combines search volume and competition. The formula rewards high search volume and penalizes high competition: Score = (Search Volume normalized ÷ Competition). Keywords with high volume and low competition score highest. Scores above 70 are marked green (high opportunity), 40–70 are yellow (moderate), and below 40 are red (competitive).
Negative keywords are search terms you want to exclude from your ad campaigns to avoid wasting budget on irrelevant clicks. For example, if you sell premium wireless earbuds, terms like "cheap," "free," or "repair" might be flagged as negative keywords because shoppers searching for them are unlikely to buy your product. The analyzer suggests negative keywords based on common low-intent modifiers related to your seed keyword.
The search volumes, competition scores, and trend data are algorithmically estimated based on typical e-commerce keyword patterns — they are illustrative models, not pulled from a live API. Use them to compare relative opportunity between keywords and as a starting point for your research. For production campaigns, validate top keywords with your advertising platform's official keyword tools.
